On August 25, 2005 Governor Blagojevich signed Public Act 94-677, the medical malpractice bill, into law.

On August 12, 2005, Governor Blagojevich signed Public Act 94-0582 into law. The act makes changes to the respondents in discovery statute and applies to pending cases.

On July 20, 2005, Governor Blagojevich signed Public Act 94-277, the workers' compensation bill, into law.
