Personal Injury

Personal injury involves harm to an individual and these types of civil cases encompass a wide variety of claims. Some of the most common types of personal injury claims include: medical malpractice, wrongful death, product liability, and transportation liability. Those who have suffered a personal injury, through no fault of their own, have a right to seek justice against those responsible.

Those who have suffered a personal injury take action against wrongdoers – such as careless corporations, hospitals or doctors – to obtain relief for the damages incurred and also to deter others from committing similar harms.

Unfortunately, the citizens of Illinois are vulnerable to injury or death from dangerous and defective products, careless doctors and other wrongdoers every day. ITLA works to educate the public about these issues and to protect the legal rights of all citizens of Illinois.
